Home Schooling and Missing Nisha
Dear Diary…
We’ve all been moved to home-schooling. I take all my lessons online and sometimes talk to my teachers on the computer. I’m trying really hard to keep up with my schoolwork because I know it’s important, but sometimes being at home is distracting. Either way, I’m going to try my best. Mum and Dad are both working from home and they try and help me with homework as much as they can. We have competitions to see who can solve different maths equations the fastest. They’re doing pretty good, but most of the time I beat them. Mum says its just because she hasn’t done maths in a while, but Dad says I’ve got the brains in the family. Maybe one day I’ll become a mathematician…
We’re also trying to learn a new word a day. Today the word was ‘astounding’ which basically means something is really impressive.
Its been really strange not seeing Nisha every day. I really miss her. I know I’ll see her one day but it's still really rubbish not being able to see my friends like I would at school. But on the bright side I’m teaching myself new skills which I never thought I could do. I’ve practiced my skateboarding almost everyday, which I think is pretty astounding (I hope I used that right!).
I’ll have to call her tonight and tell her that…
Until next time,
