North America November update - Lydia and Elinor shipping
I just wanted to update you with the latest news from our shipping agent for Lydia or Elinor. Per our last update, we got all of our goods on the container end of last month in record time with the shipment due in next week into the port of LAX (Los Angeles).
Our freight agent contacted us last night to let us know that there are currently delays getting goods cleared through customs which is taking longer than it has in previous years. This seems to be across all products at the port, and the back logs due to the pandemic.
I am hopeful that our luck will hold - as it has in the past - and that we will get through customs quickly and we can start shipping Lydia and Elinor the first week of December. This is subject to how quickly we can get goods out of the port, and I will of course keep you updated as soon as I get updates myself.
I appreciate your continued patience - this year has been an incredible challenge to get products into our customers hands. Having our team work from home, dealing with intermittent factory closures, scarcity of raw materials for manufacturing, and reduced workforces across all of our supply chains - all without compromising product quality - has made 2020 a year to remember.
We are in the last leg of getting orders delivered - and I appreciate that it has taken longer than usual, but 2020 has not been a 'usual' year so thank you for your continued support.
As soon as I have the next update you will be the first to know!
